Hey, guys. It’s Valerie from The Valerie V Show, and I am letting you know that 10:00 a.m. Central Time, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time is the magic time. So, you’re seeing this video on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, 11:00 a.m. Eastern, 8:00 a.m. Pacific, and what I want to tell you is that we are going live on Wednesday on Facebook. We’ll be going live on some other channels, too, but Facebook is where most of you are. So, if you can join us at that time, that would be great.
The other thing I need to know is what time makes the most sense for everybody to join us live? Is it evenings? It might be, so we will go back and forth from going live at 10:00 a.m. Central to going live maybe at like say 7:00 p.m. Central so everybody has time to get home from work and do their thing, have dinner, and hopefully join us live.
So today, I want to give you a little information about what we’re going to talk about on Wednesday, and, of course, since marketing is our big thing, we’re going to talk about 2019. The year is half over, so what have you done to change up your marketing, to try new strategies? And, the big question I have for everybody is what are you spending your marketing dollars on? If you’re not our client, are you using Google AdWords? Are you running Facebook Ads? Are you advertising in print, radio, TV? What is it that you’re doing to spend your marketing dollars? Are you getting a return on investment?
If you’re not, then I would say it’s time to stop the spending on those things, especially Google AdWords. We have so many of you out there using Google AdWords and spending so much money and really not being able to measure a return on investment or knowing that you’re not getting a return. Now, some of you may say that you are getting a great return on investment, which is awesome, but for the most part in our market, Google AdWords really isn’t the answer.
So, we’re going to talk about marketing in 2019. The year is half over. What are you spending your dollars on? If you’re not our client, are you spending it on Google AdWords? Where can you take that money and move it to to make a bigger difference in your home care agency this year? Where can we take that money from, move it over, and have it make a difference? Maybe you need more senior care inquiries. Maybe you need help with recruiting. Maybe you need some of a little bit of both. Maybe you need to build your fan base and your audience on Facebook.
Whatever the answer is, we’re going to talk about all the options, and we’re going to talk a little bit about websites. Because I see that some of you out there have websites that were built by Mr. Janky, and we need to fix that because that is your first impression that you’re leaving with people on their mobile device who were referred to you by a social worker or a friend or a family member. But they go to your website, and they’re not impressed. So, let’s get that fixed.
